"I attended the Better Than Ezra/Violent Femmes/Carbon Leaf concert last night. My friends and I go to lots of Better Than Ezra shows (last night was my 35th!) so we get pretty used to crappy treatment from staff at most venues. I had to let you know what a wonderful time I had and how great I was treated by your volunteers and staff! I drove in from Green Bay and was out in the sun waiting for the gates to open. I think that I must've been asked 4 or 5 times of I needed water (it was really hot). Once my friends had arrived a very kind man (I'm sorry that I don't recall his name) gave us each a free drink coupon. No one bothered us for getting there early, and everyone seemed happy that we were so excited for the show. The venue was fantastic!! There was no confusion on where we had to stand or what line we needed to be in. Staff even remembered us and asked how we liked the show afterward. The sound was far superior to most Ezra shows that I've been to.  Thank you for putting on a wonderful show! Carbon Leaf and The Femmes were also great. It's nice to know that on top of everything, it was also a benefit show. Kudos on a great job! I will keep checking in to see what other artists you book and I will definitely come up for another show! Thank you!"

"Maybe some of the "Big Hair" bands of the 80's. Tesla, Skid Row & Slaughter are playing a sold out show at the State Fair August 12th and Skid Row and other "Big Hair" bands used to play packed shows at Bases Loaded."

"First of all, thank you so much for putting some "real" concerts together for the Wausau area! Marathon Park is a great venue and is greatly underutilized. All I have to say is please bring some bands or artists that are not country, as that's all that is brought to the fair. Perhaps some more classic rock bands or some alternative bands... but please keep up the good work!!"
