Sara Evans, scheduled to perform in Wausau at The Amphitheater
in Marathon Park June 3, has been nominated for Top Female
Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music, and she
will perform live on national television May 23rd at
the 41st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at
the MGM GRAND in Las Vegas. The show airs at 7:00 PM CST on the
CBS Television Network. It’s Evans’ ninth nomination for Top
Female Vocalist.

the Sara Evans concert in Wausau, which also features Radney
Foster and Jessi Alexander, can be purchased for $25-$35 at the

Gates open at 5:00 PM and music begins at 6:00 PM. The
Amphitheater at Marathon Park is a newly renovated outdoor
concert area set within a beautiful white pine forest located
just off I-39 on Stewart Avenue in the city of Wausau. Seating
capacity is 7,500. A portion of the proceeds from the Sara Evans
concert, presented by Kinzie Benefit Concerts, will be donated
