(Wausau,WI) Sara Evans, scheduled to perform in Wausau at The Amphitheater in Marathon Park June 3, was named Top Female Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music last night during the 41st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM GRAND in Las Vegas. The Amphitheater at Marathon Park is a newly renovated outdoor concert area set within a beautiful white pine forest located just off I-39 on Stewart Avenue in the city of Wausau. Seating capacity is 7,500. It was Evans’ ninth nomination for Top Female Vocalist. Her only scheduled appearance in Wisconsin this summer is Wausau June 3.
